The 4th edition of the Workshop on Metallization of Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells, took place in Constance on May 7th and 8th, 2013. Metallization experts from all over the world have discussed status, trends and new directions. The contributions for the workshop have been selected by our scientific committee.

We can look back at meeting with around 170 specialists from all over the world, and at exciting talks, discussions and meetings!

Publications now available

The proceedings  of the 4th Workshop on Metallization (Constance 2013) are now on-line in a special issue of Elsevier Science: Energy Procedia, Volume 43, Pages 1-110 (2013), Proceedings of the 4th Workshop on Metallization for Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells: Proceedings 4th Workshop.

Note that the Proceedings include a Summary of the Workshop and an Analysis of the survey results on the future of metallization.

 

Debate Marketplace discussions

In this workshop, during the innovative discussion forum the “Debate Marketplace”, 10 small groups, under guidance of a discussion leader, discussed the relevance of 5 specific metallization topics in the form of a Statement and Counter Statement. A group reporter summarized the output of the 30 minute discussions. At the end of day 1 the summaries were presented by Stefan Glunz, asking the audience to share an Aye or No, like in the British Parliament.
